Cycling Events 2022

* Saturday 28.05.2022 Transit of "Giro d'Italia"

* Saturday 25.06.2022 “Dolomites Bike Day”:
on this Saturday, from 08.30 a.m. to 02.30 p.m., the Dolomites pass roads  Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola will be closed to the traffic and reserved exclusively for cyclists. At this non-competitive cycling event, every cyclist can take part for free and experience some of the legendary stages of the famous Italian bicycle race Giro d'Italia.

* Saturday 11.06.2022“Sellaronda Bike Day”:
the 4 passes around the Sella Group ( Sella, Groedner, Campolongo and Pordoi ) will be closed to the traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and reserved for bicycles only.

* Sunday 03.07.2022 “Marathon of the Dolomites ”:
the famous marathon for cyclists in the Dolomites. Departure and arrival will both be in Alta Badia.

* Saturday 17.09.2022 Autumn edition of the "Sellaronda Bike Day"
the 4 passes around the Sella Group ( Sella, Groedner, Campolongo and Pordoi ) will be closed to the traffic from 08.30 a.m. to 03.30 p.m. and reserved for bicycles only.

Culture
Arabba and the Dolomites are not only about nature and sports, but cultur too. Discover the many attractions of this area:
* The old mill in Arabba: an example of how wheat was once grinded through water employment
* Ladin Museum, Pieve di Pieve di Livinallongo (7 Km): this is a museum about the history, the custom and the traditions of the Ladin people. A museum to preserve the culture of this people and to compare it to the present.
* First World War Museum, Passo Pordoi (9 km): exhibition of photos of the soldiers of both armies; here are more than 3.000 objects and reproductions of the shacks and the places where those soldiers lived.
* Andraz Castle (ca. 16 Km): this “ciastèl” is the symbol of the valley of Livinallongo. This was an administrative and military area, which reached its peak under the archbishop of Brunico.
* Forte Tre Sassi, Valparola pass (ca. 22 Km) First World War Museum: in this museum there are artifacts, photos and documents that represent the history of the people of these mountains during the Great War.
